Texas Business and Employment: Jobs Increasing Steadily In North Dallas Suburbs
86Frisco - McKinney - Allen
A round trip through the upscale Dallas suburbs north of the large city, including Frisco, McKinney, and Allen, covers only 29 miles. As a group, these three suburbs are approximately 40 miles from Dallas.
Carrollton TX, another fast-growing Dallas suburb, is located approximately 19 miles southwest of the first three suburbs mentioned and just about 18 miles northwest of Dallas.
Interestingly, for 2009 - 2012, the numbers of job listings are increasing in the two suburbs furthest away from Dallas: Frisco and McKinney; while job listings have declined somewhat but stabilized in Allen and Carrollton, both located closer to Dallas.
Carrollton
Carrollton TX is approximately 18 miles southwest of Frisco, the furthest west of the three most northerly located Dallas suburbs mentioned in this Hub. At this distance, Carrollton is also closer to Dallas than the other three locations. The population increased slowly but steadily until 1960, when it began to rapidly expand.

Very interesting Article. thanks for sharing. I'm thinking about moving to Dallas :)
Thanks for a well researched hub. Makes you want to move, specially if you are unemployed.
Patty, I wanted to send a quick message and compliment your efforts. You really have a great site here. I am your neighbor over here just south of Ft. Worth, and have a hub that I am slowly converting to help others trying to find work in the Natural Gas Industry. I also have a blog tweetmyrss.com that I would be happy to add your site on my front page sidebar if you want to link to each other. It's just a PR2 site but only 2 months old so I am hoping to keep growing each month. Thought it might be an SEO win-win if your interested. If not that's cool too.. best of luck.
