Top 10 Best Healthcare Careers 2010 - 2020
88Postive Prediction of the Century
In 2010, First Lady Michelle Obama created the Let’s Move campaign to increase the nutritional usefulness and decrease the obesity of America’s children and youth. Adults must join this campaign to make it effective. Therefore, a large number of Americans will be wishing to lose weight through 2020, a milepost for growing health and medical jobs to peak or top begin even greater growth. The overall population of the world continues to grow and not decline; so this growth indicates the need for greater numbers of healthcare professionals and not fewer.
Heathcare and medical jobs will likely increase in number and increase in types and duties because of advancing technologies, through the year 2100 AD. Even if NASA and global space agencies experience budget cuts, the research they will continue to do regarding space travel and life "out there" will positively affect healthcare on earth through useful new applications of procedures and materials. That is my prediction.

Great informative hub. Thank you for helping.
I've been really considering the health care field ever since the recession, my field (electrical engineering) took a huge hit, and it's still pretty horrid.
12,200 new laboratory professionals will be needed annually to meet the growing need of the world’s population, but only 4,000 to 6,000 graduates will join the workforce each year...
From the American Society of Clinical Pathologists NMLPW fast facts.
Hi Patty, good hub and you are correct! Heath Care is THE field to go into.
I noticed that you did not mention Medical Laboratory Scientists. Next week is National Medical Laboratory Professional's Week April 18th to April 24th. So I thought I'd mention it.
A very analytical hub from every aspects. Well done. Enjoy.
nice hub thanks for sharing the info!
Intresting Hub. Very well written. I am however surprised that non of the sales healthcare professional made the list. ie medical reps etc..
Patti, great Hub with thorough information. I knew that health was a great field to get into, but to see so many health-related fields listed here was super encouraging. I do marketing for doctors online and it's good to know that their field is still growing strong and expected to continue expanding. Thanks again for the super Hub! Keep up the great work :-)

Really great article and true specially with concern to the weight management specialists job opportunity. Not only the first lady is working on to fight obesity but a lot of companies nowadays are looking for very effective products to really resolve the problem of obesity.
I want to get back into medical/health career. As "baby boomers" approach retirement, and the health care system movings towards.....? I see an increasing need for options (not just prescriptions) in pain management. Any thoughts?
Great hub! I have applied for online grad schools, and one of the places I have applied to is NY Chiropractic College as they have an MS in Applied Clinical Nutrition there. It looks like a great program and I really hope I can go far with the degree if I am accepted there. :)
Thank you! :)
