According to the Texas state labor department, in February 2009,San Antonio's economy increased by 7,700 jobs in one month.

Indeed,Com alone listed 146,000+ San Antonio job openings for RNs in mid-April 2009. Nursing job listings overall increased 1,100% since 2005 to 2009, with other Health and Medical Industry job titles increasing at least 800%.

Aerospace is a major industry sector and targeted for expansion in the San Antonio area as well as the State of Texas, increasing overall by 440% since July 2006 and on a gradual upswing since end of January 2009, incuding important technicians.
