The Top 20 Jobs in Montana are fast growing jobs are in the career fields of Social & Human Services, Healthcare, Education, and Insurance (Inlcuding Blue Cross and Blue Shield as one of 20 largest Montana employers), with Information Technology (IT) not only holding a few Top 20 slots by itself, but also appearing in the other top career fields just mentioned.

IT database administrators, programmers and engineers are needed in social and humand service capacities, especially related to databases and data analysis that is used to justify new grants and continuing grant funding for projects and community based organizations (CBOs). IT is also important to education and healthcare functions, and especailly important to the insurance industry.
