The villages of Weymouth, a community of largely Irish descent, have easy access to over 80,000 jobs in the Greater Boston Area during early 2011. Located close to Cape Cod as well, Weymouth MA is an ideal suburb and travel base just twelve miles southeast of the center of Boston.

According to Money Magazine online, Weymouth is the #52 out of the 100 Best Places to Live in America. The town is made up of four separate villages, each with its own center or mall that includes a recognized historic district: Bicknell Square, Columbian Square, Jackson Square, and Weymouth Landing.

The major highway through Weymouth cuts the Weymouth Landing Village Center in two with Washington Street or Highway 53/18. This is a high-traffic transportation artery that brings new businesses, customers, and residents into the commercial area/mallway.

One of the nationally important historic landmarks in this area is the Weymouth Landing Post Office, built prior to American entrance into WWII in 1941 as the city's first Federal Building.
